How we handle your privacy
Revised 2 November 2026
The short version of our privacy
Spruceharbourgames is built to collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment boxes, no analytics and no advertising trackers. You can read every review and guide without telling us anything about yourself.
This page explains the few things that do touch your data: the storage your browser keeps for you, the fonts we load and the emails you choose to send us.
Your muster roll lives in your browser
When you tap the heart on a realm, the game is added to your muster roll. That list is saved in your own browser using localStorage, a small storage area on your device. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it.
Your choice on the cookie notice is stored the same way so the notice does not keep reappearing. Clearing your browser’s site data removes both the list and that choice. A shared roll link simply carries the game names in the address so a friend’s browser can save its own copy.
Typefaces fetched from Google’s servers
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, Google receives your IP address and standard browser details such as the browser type and the page requesting the fonts. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We do not receive any of this information, and we use Google Fonts only to display the site’s text as intended.
No counters, no ad networks
We do not run analytics tools, tracking pixels or advertising scripts. We do not build visitor profiles, measure your scrolling or share your behaviour with ad networks. The only third-party request a page makes on its own is the one to Google Fonts described above.
Partner links on our play buttons are plain links. Once you follow one, the publisher’s own site and policies take over.
Letters to the Spruceharbourgames desk
If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include. We use that only to read and answer your note, and we keep it only as long as the conversation needs.
We never add correspondents to mailing lists, never sell addresses and never pass your message to anyone else without your permission.
Games on their own sites
Play buttons open each game’s official website in a new tab. Whatever you share there, from account details to in-game activity, is handled by that publisher under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read before founding a keep.
Requests Spruceharbourgames honours under PIPEDA
We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You may ask what personal information we hold about you, which in practice means any emails you have sent, and ask us to correct or delete it by writing to [email protected].
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to these notes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the revision date at the top. We will never introduce tracking quietly; any change will be described here in plain words.
